Pinwheels Make Me Happy

Hello everyone,

I just love pinwheels!  They are whimsical and brighten up a room.  I made this card using Stampin' Up!'s new Sizzlits S Pinwheel Die.  The finished size is approximately 2" x 2", so I can definitely see the possibilities.

Love Is In The Air

Today, I'm sharing a card and treat box.  I love perusing YouTube for crafty videos (especially stamping ones) and CASE'd this card from Connie Stewart at http://simplysimplestamping.com/flash-card-2-0-happy-valentines-day-card-video-no-10/ and the treat box from Brandy Cox at http://brandyscards.com/2012/12/stampin-up-valentines-day-treat-video-tutorial/. I still want to try the treat box using the Silver Soda Pop Tops.

Paper Flowers and Pool Party Vase

Happy Sunday my friends,

I saw this idea in the latest issue of Stampin' Success, our demonstrator magazine. It is always full of ideas I want to try and plenty of inspiration.

I used some white acrylic paint and a glass vase I purchased at the dollar store. I mixed Pool Party ink with the white acrylic paint and let it dry for a few days. Now, it's not waterproof, but that doesn't matter, because I made paper flowers with Stampin' Up!'s White Creped Filter Paper (available in the Spring Catalog), First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Quint-Essential Flower stamp, Primrose Petals ink, and some floral wire (also purchase at the dollar store).

A Valentine's Take Out Box Sneak Peek

Hello there,

I have wanted to make this takeout box ever since I saw it on the internet.  I used the Hearts a Flutter Bundle and More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Spring Catalog (available January 3, 2013), as well as the Natural 7/8" Cotton Ribbon being carried over into 2013.  You can even remove the band to open the box and reveal the treats inside!  It's the first time I have used my new Petal Cone die and love it!

Happy New Year and another Spring Catalog Sneak Peek

Happy New Year everyone!  For this card I used the new Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack, the Memorable Moments clear stamp set and the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  I also used Celebrate from the Seasonal Sayings stamp set in the Holiday Catalog, but not to worry, because Seasonal Sayings is being carried over into 2013!
