I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Sammie collects foliage from around the neighborhood.

Sammie decided this afternoon when she got home from school that she would collect leaves and different flowers and foliage from around the neighborhood.  She taped them all to this piece of paper and it makes a rather pretty design.

Happy Friday tomorrow,
Terri and Samantha

Wedding scrapbook for my cousin Cody and his new bride Annie.

Hi everyone,
This is a scrapbook and card I made for Cody and his new bride Annie (who just happens to be the sweetest gal I've met in a long time and Cody is a lucky guy). I used the Fancy Frames, Paper Doll Dress-Up and Sophie Cricut Cartridges, along with some glitter and a few Harley Davidson decals.  You see, theirs was a Harley themed wedding and it was beautiful.

Enjoy!
Terri

Hello, it's been a while.

Hello my friends!

It's been a while since I posted, but I hope to be more consistent from now on. I made this tissue box using the Cricut Florals Embellished cartridge and a self-adhesive tissue box I purchased at Joann's. I also used Bazzill paper and the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge. It took me a couple of hours to make all the cuts and piece them together as this is a very layer oriented cartridge, but I think it was worth it.

I hope you all are having a wonderful 4th of July weekend and spending time with your family and friends.

Stay safe,

Terri

Mothers Day Cards

Hi everyone,

I know it's almost a week after Mothers Day, but here are the 3 cards I received from my wonderful husband and sweetest daughter. Sammie had me cut a swirl from the Cricut American Alphabet cartridge (my first cuts on the E2) and she also made me a booklet in school. Dean got me the sweetest card, it even had pop-ups and glitter and bling! I love them all! Have a great weekend everyone!

My Scrap Happy Place

Hi,

Since yesterday was National Scrapbooking Day, I thought I would show you my crafting oasis. It's in our home office, which is home to my husband's workplace, and also Star Trek and Twilight memorabilia, more of the latter. We purchased a Scrapbox a little over two years ago and it has twice the storage for half the price of most craft armoires. I can close it if necessary, but I never do. It's nice to be able to sit down for 15 minutes and have everything at my fingertips. I have my Cricut Expression 2 and my Cricut Imagine on a separate table to my left and my Your Story and TC Stampmaker on/in a smaller cabinet next to that table. Everything is organized (for the most part) and my daughter and the neighbor girls always know where to find something they might need for a project. I am one lucky girl to have a husband that spoils me!

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Last Stamp Club Meeting!

Hi everyone,

Here's a lovely group of ladies I get together with once a month for a Stampin Up Stamp Club. Last night was our last meeting for this g0-round and we had a card swap. Each person made 7 of the same cards and we swapped them. It was great fun and I now have some beautiful cards. The card on the bottom right is one of our projects from last night and I'll be giving it to my beautiful mom-in-law for Mother's Day.

Take care,

Terri

Cricut Cat-The Layout

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! One more day until the weekend. Yay! Okay, I posted this picture of Rusty and his Cricuts a few days ago, but here is the layout I made for my daughter's album (since he's technically her cat so I guess I would be a cat Grandma). Hey, I'm only 44, what happened there? Anyway, here is the layout. I used my Cricut Imagine to print some background paper and my Cricut Everyday cartridge to print the titles and the bug head. It's a very black, green and white layout, but I think it's kinda fun. Happy Mother's Day to my crafty friends out there!

Happy Friday night! This is the layout I entered in the Provo Craft HSN Expression 2 launch contest. I mailed it last Saturday to Provo Craft's offices in Utah. The Expression 2 launches on HSN next Monday night 9 PM central time and five people who submitted layouts will win an Expression 2. I used the Cricut Birthday Bash cartridge and Stampin Up Stampin Silver Glitter Glass. I designed it on my Gypsy while riding the bus! Have a great weekend everybody!

Cricut Cat

So this little guy is my daughter's Japanese Bobtail cat Rusty. He is a little over a year old and we adopted him when he was about 2 1/2 months from a local shelter. We wanted her to have a kitten, as we already had 2 cats that are older than she is.

Rusty absolutely loves it when I fire up any of my Cricut machines. He is fascinated by the blade carriage and mat moving. So, with that said, I thought it only appropriate that he have a picture with the Cricut plushies. Of course, getting him to sit still was another thing......

Have a good night and great Wednesday!

Sew Cool!

So Sammie wants to learn how to sew (so we can make a How To Train Your Dragon Toothless plush). Whatever the motive of a nine year old sweetie pie, it inspired me to purchase a sewing machine. So tonight, after 20 plus years of not touching one at all (since high school and home ec class I think), I practiced stitches on paper. Of course, this was after it took me 45 minutes to thread the needle! Ha ha. Here is Sammie using a sewing machine for the very first time. Seriously, I just think it's great she wants to learn, so we'll learn together. Me and my sweet girl.

Have a great one!

Gotta love sharks!

Hi Everyone,

This card and gift bag is made using the Cricut Best of Pixar catridge. Our neighbor girl wants to be a marine biologist and loves sharks, so it was the perfect excuse to make a shark card. I just love Nemo, and Bruce is one of my favorite characters. Hope you are having a great Saturday night!
Just keep swimming,
Terri

Cricut Card Contest Entry

This is the card I made for the Cricut Card Contest for the HSN launch of two new products from Provo Craft and Anna Griffin on January 20th. I used the Wall Decor and More and Don Juan cartridges, along with Anna Griffin paper. I tell you, my Michael's and Joann's did not have any Anna Griffin products. I found the paper just by chance at Life's a Scrapbook in Sherwood, Oregon. I almost gave up and didn't submit anything, but I am glad I did. I added some bling to the Eiffel Tower to make it sparkly.
Hope it's a good weekend for all.

Happy New Year 2011

A few observations about 2010: Love your family and friends for they are precious and life can change in an instant. Tell them you love them often and be grateful for what you have. Don't sweat the small stuff, it's not worth the stress. Don't talk politics. Do something you love to do every day, even if only for a few minutes. Get a good belly laugh in if you can. Happy New Year everyone!
