Hello and welcome to CYCI#101 and a color challenge! Our colors this week at www.canyoucaseit.com are winters colors: purples, blue and neutrals.
It's been awhile since I did the spackle technique, so I wanted to try it on this card. I stamped the honeycomb pattern into the wet spackle on the butterfly. It takes a bit to dry, but the look is worth it. I also used a stencil and spackled the top layer of the card base:
I used the following Stampin Up! products for this card:
Blackberry Bliss, Soft Suede, Lost Lagoon and Whisper White Cardstock
Butterfly Basics Stamp Set
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set
Bold Butterfly Framelits
Word Window Punch
Bitty Butterfly Punch
Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad
Soft Suede Ink Pad
Versamark Ink Pad
Happy Patterns Decorative Masks
Jewel Rhinestones
Stampin' Dimensionals
Stampin' Sponge
Other: Faber Castell Whipped Spackle
Thanks for stopping by this week! Please head over to www.canyoucaseit.com and show us your creation and view the rest of the Design Team projects.
Thanks!
Terri
