This month at the ICS Design Team, we are highlighting Designer Series Paper with a paper palooza!
For my projects, I wanted to highlight the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper, but I wanted to use it with a totally unrelated suite of products. So I chose the Bouquet Blooms Stamp Set and Gatefold Blossoms Framelits Dies, which can be purchased together as a bundle (Bouquet Blooms) at a 10% savings.
The framelits make a cute gatefold card, using a 9" x 5" piece of cardstock. It's pretty easy to do. Here's a great video from Stampin' Up! showing how to put together the card:
I also wanted to make a gift, so I chose a hand sanitizer holder and modified it to make it a bit wider. I originally got the idea from Dawn Griffith, but she had used the retired oval punch (this was years ago) and I wanted to use the smallest oval form the Layering Ovals Framelits, so I had to make the paper wider. I also accented the large flower by using Jewel Pearls and coloring them with an Old Olive (Dark) Stampin' Blend marker.
I had some left over pieces, so I decide that I needed to make a tag to go with my card and gift.
Project Recipe:
Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide and Whisper White Cardstock
Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper (one of the Buy 3 Get 1 Free papers during July)
Bouquet Blooms Stamp Set
Gatefold Blossoms Framelits Dies
Layering Ovals Framelits
Pretty Label Punch
Fresh Fig Ink
Old Olive Dark Stampin' Blend marker
Jewel Pearls
Natures Twine in Mint Macaron
