Okay, I can post it now that my parent's 46th wedding anniversary was this past weekend. This was my first try at making a card using a rosette.
Have a good one! Terri,

Samantha made this tree from scraps.
Happy Monday everyone!
Sammie decided last night that she wanted to peruse my scrap paper drawer. She borrowed some scissors, mounting squares, cabochon beads and my scraps and headed to the other side of our craft room/office. All I had to do was roll the copy paper into a cone shape. Here is her tree made from scraps. Pretty cool!
Take care,
Terri

2012 Fresh Vintage Desk Calendar
Happy Monday!
I made this calendar using some SRM calendar stickers I picked up at my LSS (Life's a Scrapbook in Sherwood, Oregon) and my new Fresh Vintage Stampin' Up! 2012 Sale-a-Bration stamp set. I used Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade and Lucky Limeade paper, Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade inks and some Calypso Coral Organdy Ribbon. I also used flower brads from Stampin' Up!'s Brights collection.
I wanted to make my own calendars and found an idea for the easel base here (http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2010/02/stampinup-totally-tess-easel-card-calendar.html). Dawn has such beautiful creations.
Sale-a-Bration runs January 24-March 31, 2012, so please contact me at territakashige.stampinup.net to find out more. Oh, I can't wait to create something with the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper!
And check out Sarah's Linky Party at: http://www.pinkcricut.com/. There's some great creativity going on over there!!!
Have a great week!

Fan card made from scraps.
Hello everybody,
Tomorrow, one of my co-workers moves to a new position in our company and I wanted to make her a quick and simple card. I was trying out my new Stampin' Up! Bigz XL Designer Rosette die yesterday, and I didn't use a long enough piece of paper to make a full rosette. So I thought, what can I can with the "scrap" of paper? I remembered that I had Stampin' Up!'s Furnished With Love stamp set (I've had it forever), so one thing led to another and here is the Fantastic (get it?) card made for my fantastic co-worker! The paper I used was some paper I printed using my Cricut Imagine cut and print machine. I also used the Stampin' Up Word Window and Modern Label punches. For Stampin' Up! items, please visit my website at territakashige.stampinup.net.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Owls good in the new year.
Happy New Year!
I wanted to post this picture of some owl pillows I made over the holidays. I used the Make a Friend pattern @ Joann's and made some for my aunts and mom and mother-in-law. The one I like the best is the one on the left front. I used Stampin' Up! Spice Cake Designer Series fabric (love this and just ordered some more). For the other owls, I used the coordinating quilting bundles you can buy at Joann's. I'm getting back into sewing after more than 20 years and enjoying it, although not as often as I'd like.
To purchase the Spice Cake Designer Series fabric and paper, please visit me at territakashige.stampinup.net.
Take care everyone!
