Sammie meeting Jasper

Just before Thanksgiving 2011, Dean brought Sammie home this little boy we now call Jasper.  He was 10 weeks old and was at home with us and part of our family in all of five minutes.  For this page I used Cricut Imagine Teresa Collins Black and White Cricut Cartridge, Bazill paper, my sewing machine and the We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy.

I am also posting this on Sarah Hamer Designs.  Sarah has a link up party every Tuesday. Come check it out at:  http://www.pinkcricut.com/2012/02/link-party-4/

Have a great rest of the week!

Valentine Treats for school and work.

Okay, the last of Valentine's Day crafting. I made Valentine boxes for Sammie's 4th/5th grade class (26 counting the teacher) and 5 for my teammates at work using the Cricut Spring Holiday Cards cartridge.  Then, I made 48 candy spoons with Valentine's sprinkles and used my left over hearts from the Cricut cuts and the heart from my Stampin' Up! Filled With Love set (retired) and took these to work today .  Whew, my Gypsy and E2 got a workout last week!  Head on over to http://www.pinkcricut.com/ to see what everyone else has been up this past week!

I hope you had a great Valentine's Day!

Be Mine Valentine!

I used my Stampin' Up! Candy Conversations stamp and Filled With Love heart (retired) to make cards and our Valentine's tree this year.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Valentine's Day!

Plateau Indian Project - 4th grade

Samantha was assigned to present Native American clothing for her group as part of her class study of the Plateau Indians.  It was a collabarative effort between Samantha, Dean and myself.  We used the Cricut My World cartridge, various leather and grass papers from Joann's, fake moss, styrofoam (recycled from a box), feathers and various colors of beads.  I cut the people and their clothes, Samantha decorated them with feathers and beads and leather and Dean made the base (and discovered the wonders of hot glue).  We used bamboo sticks glued to the back of the people to stick in the styrofoam and make them stand.

Have a great week!
