ICS Blog Hop Introducing 2016-2018 In Colors

Hello and welcome to the July Inspire Create Share Blog Hop. This month our theme is the new set of Stampin' Up! In Colors for 2016-2018.

Here they are!  Meet Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum:

I wanted to use the combination of Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum, but I thought it needed a third In Color.  I picked my trusty friend Mint Macaron as the accent color and I think it works:

I used the following Stampin' Up! products for these projects:

Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macaron and Whisper White Cardstock
2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack
Sunburst Sayings Stamp Set
Dapper Denim and Mint Macaron Ink Pads
1 3/8" Circle Punch
1" Circle Punch
Blossom Bunch Punch
Flower Medallion Punch
Classic Label Punch
Stampin' Dimensionals

Other:  We R Memory Keepers Pinwheel Punch Board and Accessories

Thanks for stopping by on the hop!  Now it's time to check out Jen Hillhouse Guarino's amazing crafty goodness!

Combining a Color and Sketch Challenge!

Hello!

This card is a first for me in a couple of different ways.  It's my first card submission to the Global Design Project, for Global Design Project #042/Sketch Challenge, and my first time posting as a challenger at CanYouCaseIt.com for the CYCI#127 Color Challenge.

First, here is the #GDP042 sketch inspiration:

At CYCI, the Color Challenge is Blue, Turquoise, and Lime (along with neutrals):

I really enjoyed putting all the details on this card, and using the sketch and colors to create.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
Terri

CYCI#120 A Sketch Challenge

Hey there and welcome to another CYCI Sketch Challenge!

This is our sketch inspiration this week over at www.canyoucaseit.com:

And here is my version:

I tried a new technique (for me) on this card, I used bleach!  I've always wanted to, just never had.  It was so easy to just color in the spots after I heat embossed the flowers and let them cool.

I used the following Stampin' Up! products for this sketch challenge:

Whisper White, Whisper White Thick, Perfect Plum and Basic Black Cardstock
Grateful Bunch Stamp Set
Blossom Bunch Punch
Stampin' Emboss Black Embossing Powder
Basic Black Archival Ink Pad
Stampin' Dimensionals
Jewel Rhinestone
Heat Tool
Aqua Painter

Other:  Bleach

Thanks for checking out my card today!  Please visit www.canyoucaseit.com and see all of the talent displayed there, and then link up your own beautiful project.

Have a great week!
Terri
